Can one actually
Find meaning in life?
Or live with the meaning?
When the answer goes against
Everything we have been taught,
What do we do?

Erroneous feelings corrode
Our given natures, such that,
One marries another and
Another murders one in concert.
This messy link between
The threads of fate,
Woven into our tapestries,
Is immutable and unfixable.
Yet fate remains in flux
Evermore, for it is our choices
Which determines our lives,
And ultimately, our fates.

Perfection in my veins,
Or is it in my brain?
The minutiae leave me guessing,
On the words that I've been using.
Leaving over and over again,
Will this time be for my gain?
Keeping track of all these little oddities
Wreaks havoc on my little moralities.

It might have been fate,
But darling,
You have always delighted
In dashing
Everyone's expectations anyways.

Stallling for yet more attention,
I think that this thirst
Of mine is unquenchable.
Speeding through for applause,
I feel my hunger for
Approval grow evermore.

When you believe me,
I don’t know if
You understand, but
You have done the one thing
No one has ever done for me.
You place your trust in me,
And I feel this feeling of
Contentment, and
I don’t know what I have done
To deserve this.
To deserve you.

Treading through the
Rubble of a ruined
World, Our wicked ways
Ran us to our ruin.
Trouble comes to,
And our aspirations,
Like all our laws,
Come down crashing.

Spoiling a nice candle,
A new book, some saved food.
Everything is spoiled once
It has been used.
The book has rotted,
The food has spoiled,
The candle, destroyed,
Waiting did no favours anyway.
Usage is spoilage,
But so is enjoying life.
There is no 'perfect day',
Enjoy your life.

A girl,
In misery lives,
And yet she lives not,
No, for she only survives.
A girl.

We could have been so much,
But you chose to throw that all away.
Could have ruled the world,
But that was too large for you.
Would have been happier,
But you fell for their lies.
Would have been friends forever,
But you threw that all away.
