Certainly, my dear reader! ‘Tis but a game of perception, how we phrase the action at the end of the day, is it not? One man’s hero is another’s horror, at least that is what I believe… This thought was quite a generalisation, completely ignorant of factors such as motives and methods, which you have phrased quite well, so thank you for pointing those out!
Although it is true that someone’s hero is another man’s villain, I wouldn’t dismiss the nature of good and evil in objective terms. While it is debatable what’s good and what’s evil in some cases, some things can be objectively good or evil. It isn’t absolutely relative, for example Nazzis were objectively evil (although they considered themselves to be good) and people who risked their lives to save Jews were good. That’s just one example. Have a nice day. 😊
Not necessarily, one who slays the demon might be better and more noble, driven by goodness, compassion, love.
